Church cancelled again, progressing family

Hi Fam!
Well the snow is still here but it was raining a lot the other day and caused a lot of flooding. It wasnt warm enough to melt the snow but it made it super slushy and now its frozen. Wild weather here.
Church was cancelled AGAIN... That was a big bummer. Spent the day working like normal. We visited a lot of members and we had dinner with the bishop and then we ended up going over to another members house with the bishop and his family and having a little sacrament meeting there. About 15 people people were there. It was a nice spirit. It has made me appreciate the sacrament much MUCH more. Be so thankful for the sacrament. It really does change you.

The H family (the new family we are teaching) is doing awesome. We had our first lesson with the parents the other night and it was sooooo good! She wanted to learn so bad and she loved everything we taught. We committed her to baptism on April 4th and we committed him to repent and tog et back into church so he can be worthy to baptize his wife and 3 kids. We are trying to start to teach the kids. They were bummed that church was cancelled. Tonight we are going over to teach them how to have FHE. Christy (the mom) LOVED the idea about FHE. She turned to Charley(the husband) and said "You could have been teaching me these things this whole time??" It was funny. We love them so much. This is a family that will be going through the temple to be sealed one day. I know it. I pray for it.

Transfer calls will be this saturday... I am nervous. I dont want to leave now that we just found this family!! But, I will go wherever the Lord wants.

It was so nice to shovel peoples driveways this week. We literally were placed at the right place at the right time in many instances. We were driving by a house and saw to older ladies walking through deep snow to their van which hadnt been touched since the snow storm and they were going to try to get out. Now way jose. They moved like a foot and got stuck. Luckily, we were driving by and saw it and jumped out and dug them out and cleared their whole driveway so they could get to the store. Talked to them for a few minutes and the younger one said that shes read the Book of Mormon and was trying to find a large copy for here mother so she could read it. Well, luckily we have 1 large copy of the Book of Mormon in our apartment!:) So, they are new investigators:) It was great.

Reached 18 months this last week. Seems like time doesnt exist here. It just flys by.

Love yall lots!!!
